From Inca Trail porter to company founder

Juve takes great pride in helping people and in his Andean roots.

Born in the Yanahuara community near Urubamba, Juve grew up speaking Quechua. He worked as a porter on the classic Inca Trail, then studied tourism and English in Cusco and has been a licensed tour guide since 2004. In 2010 he founded Incatrekkers so that the income from tourism stays with the people of the region.
