ITINERARY:

Day 1: Cusco-Limatambo- Chonta View Point -Cusco

The Adventure of a Chonta Andean Condor begins. Your journey begins early when we pick you up at your Cusco hotel at 6:00 am and take you on a private transportation ride along the picturesque Cusco-Limatambo route. Travel to the community of Chonta. Arriving at the Chonta community at an elevation of 3400 meters (11,154 feet), we will take you through some of the most beautiful views of the Salkantay and Humantay Mountains. As the Andean scenery opens up in front of you, the scene is set for an amazing day.

Discover the World of the Condor. Following a filling box lunch and some much-needed relaxation, we'll start our leisurely walk in the direction of the Condor View Point. Situated to the right of the Apurimac River, this viewpoint provides a wide-angle view of the Apurimac River Canyon. Here, you will encounter one of the deepest valleys in South America, a striking landscape, and the revered Andean Condor nesting site.

Observe the Sacred Condors of the Andes. Awe-inspiring views of the Sacred Andean Condors, known as the Inca's Sacred Bird, will enthrall you. It is very amazing to watch these gorgeous creatures fly effortlessly above the Apurimac Valley.
