ITINERARY:

Day 1: Cusco- Pacchanta-7 lakes - Upis

Start out on an exhilarating early-morning excursion that will leave Peru permanently etched in your memory. Your incredible trip will begin at around 5:00 a.m. when we pick you up from your hotel. During our leisurely 4-hour trip through the picturesque roadway southeast of Cusco, you will have the opportunity to fully appreciate the breathtaking magnificence of this part of the world. Along the route, we'll pass through the charming town of Tinki, which will add to the attractiveness of our excursion.

At a breathtaking height of 4200 meters (13,779 feet), the charming village of Pacchanta, the perfect beginning place for our incredible hike, is where we will end up. Pacchanta is a hidden gem that is simply waiting to be found. It is close to the magnificent Ausangate, which is the highest peak in the Cusco region.

The true adventure begins as we embark on a thrilling journey that ascends gradually through a stunning valley. A hike can lead to seven breathtaking lakes, each more beautiful than the previous one. After a two-hour climb, we will reach the first of these gorgeous lakes. The next two hours will be spent discovering the other lakes, which are all buried away within the gorgeous Andes Mountain range. Thanks to the breathtaking environment, which is truly a feast for the eyes, you will be in awe of the various natural wonders of the area. On our hike to Upis camping at the Hot Spring (4400 m/14,200 ft), we will have lunch at Azulcocha Lake. We will hike for three hours to reach the Upis camp.

Day 2: Upis to Pukacocha

We'll wake you up early to eat breakfast before beginning our journey up to the 4800m (15,748 ft)-high Arapa Pass. The climb will take about three hours. Panoramic views of variously colored lakes, the magnificent Ausangate Glacier, and stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains will all be available to us along the journey. We will descend for a further 3 hours to reach our lunch location after taking some fantastic pictures, and it will take us another two hours to reach Puka Cocha (4600 m/15,091 ft), which is one of the most picturesque campsites near the Ausangate glacier and on the side of the lake.

Day 3: Pukacocha to Surinecocha

Today, after an early breakfast, we will climb for around two hours steadily upward until we reach Apacheta Pass (4900 m/16,076 ft). The climb is somewhat difficult. When you reach the summit, breathtaking views of the entire route and the Ausangate Glacier are immediately in front of you. We will begin to descend through the lush valley, with alpacas and llamas grazing on the mountain site, after you have taken in the splendor all around you and taken some fantastic shots. Anantapata is 4600 m/15,091 ft as we go closer to the camp where we will have lunch. Following lunch, we will begin a one-hour moderate ascent to the Warmisaya pass (4990 m/16,371 ft.).  We will get our first look at the magnificent Rainbow Mountain from here. Next, we descend to Surinecocha, where our camp is set up.

Day 4: Surinecocha - Rainbow Mountain - Red Valley

We will set off on a steady ascent after an early breakfast that will take us about an hour, and it will end with our arrival at the stunning Rainbow Mountain, which stands majestically at 5050 meters (16,568 feet) above sea level. You'll get breathtaking views of surrounding snow-capped mountains as you travel, all the while taking in Peru's famed Attraction Mountain's vibrant landscape.
Our educated guide will share information on what makes these mountains unique. They are a captivating mosaic of different minerals that produce beautiful and colorful stone striations that vividly depict the beauty of nature. Unquestionably, this is one of Peru's most alluring natural wonders and one of South America's most breathtaking locations.

Our journey will continue as we take in the amazing views in the morning and record these moments with our cameras. We will travel a scenic path for around 1.5 hours as we drop into the enchanting Red Valley. Our energizing hike will come to a conclusion as we descend to the friendly, tiny community of Llaqtu, where we will enjoy lunch.

Our private transportation will take us back to Cusco after this filling supper; the trip takes about three hours. You'll enjoy stunning Andean views as you go, passing through quaint traditional communities that reveal a bit of the area's rich history and culture. Your return to your accommodation in Cusco will be made safely thanks to our transportation, and we anticipamos being there around 17:00 PM.

        In order to give your body the opportunity to get used to the altitude before the hike, we strongly advise coming at least two days before the tour. Most people can usually acclimate to Cusco (3400m/11,154 ft) in a full day of leisurely walking and heavy drinking of water.
