TRADITIONAL TOURS IN CUSCO

Everybody doing a trek around Cusco must arrive at least two days prior to the trek start to Cusco in order to aclimatize to the altitude. This is standard practice adopted by all operators. Cusco and its surroundings offer various interesting activity and we would be pleased to welcome you on one of our traditional tours.

CUSCO CITY TOUR (approx. 4 hours)

The tour starts at the Temple of the Sun (Qorikancha), main religious center of the Incas dedicate to the Sun cult. After that we are going to visit the impressive Colonial Cathedral in Cusco that contains more than 400 paintings from the colonial time and several altars. From here we go by bus to visit the four Inca ruins, such as the enormous Sacsayhuman ruins that overlook Cusco and the other Inca ruins Quenqò, Pukapukara and Tambomachay.

• Pick up time from your hotel at 1:30 pm
• End of the tour at 6:30 pm.

SACRED VALLEY (full day)

The sacred valley is an area full of Inca ruins and ancient villages. We will visit the Pisac traditional market for the local tapestries. Then we continue our trip along the side of the Urubamba River, known as a sacred river, passing through the village Calca, Yucay and Urubamba where we are going to stop to have luch. After lunch we go to the Ollantaytambo village and to the Inca ruins. During our route to Cusco we will go to Chinchero plaza, church and the Inca ruins
